Babys "First" Christmas

Well it was kind of her first Christmas :)

She got lots of stuff for not even being here yet ;)

Her cousin Lauren got her a cute pink trinket box with a star on it and a box of wipes, washclothes, binkys, sippy cups :)

Her "Aunt" Sami & "Uncle" Brian got her a camo outfit with white ruffles - I have a feeling when Todd dresses her that will be the outfit of choice :)

Belly was rubbed by all and she felt very loved :)

Can't believe next Christmas we will have an 8 month old!

Oh and we are pretty set on the name :
Alessandra Kaye Jimerson
"Ally" for short

Pops (her grandpa) is already calling her Ally Cat :) and her daddy calls her Ally so don't think we will be changing it :)

LEG CRAMP!!!!!!!!!

I had my first leg cramp last night, I have heard about these and got to experience one for the first time last night - I felt like I was going to die, I'm sometimes ;) dramaful but this time I really thought I was going to die!

Todd had fallen asleep in the recliner and thank goodness because he might of gotten knocked out I was moving all over the bed trying to get rid of the cramp, I was crying and yelling for Todd but did he wake up and check on me NOPE Jasper was in bed and he didn't even budge. Hopefully I don't go into labor in the middle of the night or I will have to drive myself to the hospital ;)

After the cramp finally went away, I fell back to sleep and had a great dream of the baby she was sooooooo cute and all smiles very happy baby so it made all the pain worth it - I'm guessing like giving birth - the end result is so worth it :)

22 weeks

22 weeks belly pics.

I go see my urologist the 19th to go over my ultrasound of my kidney (it was enlarged). I have been feeling better though.

She has been really moving more like kicking, she even has woken me up in the middle of the night, I guess she is giving me practice. It's a great feeling though so I don't mind. Todd is able to feel her more :)
My sisters got me my nursery bedding for an early b-day present it's soooo cute and girly :) We will start painting the nursery after Christmas.

LOOK AT ME! LOOK AT ME!

I woke up yesterday with some HORRIBLE back pains on the my side, and nausea called my doc and he had me come in checked the babies heartbeat 150 :) sent me over to get an ultrasound done on my kidneys (I am prone to kidney stones because I have a medullary sponge kidney) During the US on my kidney baby Jimerson stuck her hand in the picture - She didn't like that she wasn't getting her picture taken. ;)

My doc called me today, no stones but my kidney is enlarged so I have to see my urologist next week. I felt so much better today, I'm thinking I had a kidney stone and passed it but who knows. My back pain has come back a little this evening but nothing like yesterday.

I'm feeling her move around and the heart beat was good so that is a relief.

20 Weeks

Well it's the half way mark!!!!! 20 weeks I cant' believe it.

I have really been feeling her move I think she is kicking at times!
Todd got to feel her move yesterday morning, he put his hand on my stomach, and I felt her move but didn't say anything, he said WHOA! :)

I have been sleeping with a pillow in between my legs because my back is starting to hurt me. I'm still going to the bathroom alot, starting to get used it though more.

ITS A GIRL!

We found out on the 17th but kept quiet till Thanksgiving, Cole shared the news with my family, went around the table and everybody said what they were thankful for, Cole was last and said I'm thankful for my family and my new little sister!, my niece Lauren said you don't know that it's a girl, Sarah hasn't found out yet, I had to fill her in that he was right and we did know :)

The ultrasound went good, she was breech but the tech said she has plenty of time to flip around. She was 12 cm long from crown to rump, and heartbeat 153. Everything looked really good. She got lots of pics, cuz the lil one was really moving around. We even got to see her open and close her mouth. Todd was happy to have his little girl, and even Cole is excited to have a little sister :)

I have really been feeling her move about 10:00 everynight she gets moving around in there :) Still feeling great, and such a great feeling to feel her move around.

17 weeks

Went to the doc on Monday he just discussed some tests with us, and we listened to the heartbeat 153 :)

I have been feeling good, I definatly am getting my appetite back! I have been constipated and my nose is really dry.

but nothing really new to report here is my 17 week pic of my belly!

16 weeks

I am 16 weeks today :) Time is going by really fast.

I had a doctor appointment (just a check up) on the 8th but he had to move it to the 12th, kind of hoping they will be able to tell me boy or girl but not sure.

I still have been feeling really good, my back is starting to hurt a little though, and at night there is no more rolling over from side to side on my belly (not so much that it's so big, just hard as a rock) but then when I roll from side to side on my back it takes me a few minutes cuz my back is really sore. I am thinking about purchasing one of those body pillows and see how that helps.

14 weeks

Flippty Flop

Had a doc appointment today that brought tears to my eyes (happy tears) Doc was doing an ultrasound, the baby was laying on its back and doc is showing me the eye, heartbeat and all of a sudden FLIPPTY FLOP baby Jimerson flopped over on its side and looked right at me (also gave a shout out to daddy and big brother Cole) Doc said wow it's looking right at you mommy! I could see both eyes it was so neat!!!!!!!!!!!

In the ultrasound pic though is that it's tongue sticking out at me????

It made me finally feel like I DO have a baby in there :) I just have been feeling so good it sometimes doesn't feel like I'm even pregnant but now i defiantly know a lil one is growing and MOVING in there.

I felt bad that Todd didn't get to see it, so i stopped and bought a lil onsie that said "Daddy's lil pumpkin" and has a pumpkin on it :) Not sure if by next Halloween it will fit but tried to estimate the size :)

We got Cole's midterm grades in the mail today. 1st report card at his new school.

I have been feeling good, getting a little bit of my energy back. I feel like I am really starting to show now (at least my clothes aren't fitting like they used to) it will be 12 weeks tomorrow !!!

Cravings

Well I think I have my first craving LEMONADE!! I told Todd the other day I think I have a craving, lemonade, he said I was wondering why all of a sudden there is always a pitcher of lemonade in the fridge. :)

Big brother Cole is at 6Th grade camp this week :) We will get him this weekend I bet he will be pretty tired!!!!!!!!!!

We got our bedroom painted over the weekend, onto Cole's room, then babies room :) After the rooms are painted we are going to get carpet.

I'm finally starting to get some energy back YEAH :)

This weekend Todd had his first pregnancy dream He dreamt that he was pregnant!!!!!!!
My dreams have been very vivid only one so far about a baby though. But very strange dreams.

Still feeling great, but since it has started getting chilly out and I had to bring out my jeans, I have noticed they are starting to fit a little snug, so might need to do some clothes shopping soon.
I am finally off my antibiotics so I have an appetite again, Nothing sounded or tasted good when I was on the medicine.

A new Date

The Doc gave me a new due date this time April 18th which is neat because Todd's birthday is Feb 18th, Cole's is Nov 18th and my parents wedding Anniversary is April 18th :)


I let him know about the light brown spotting I had the other day, and he decided to skip the exam and just do an ultrasound, I was not worried until I could see his concern then I got very worried everything is fine though, the heart beat was good and he said there is only one, unless the other one is a really good hider :) So next time I go I will have the full exam :(

It was so neat to see how big the baby has grown in just a few weeks :)

Oh by the way MYSTERY SOLVED "My Boys can Swim was a gift from Miss Shannon Veeder :) Thanks Shannon really cute book (and believe it or not Todd is actually reading it) I also got the "Pregnancy Bible" from my sister Becky today another book Todd might read (lets just say lots of photographs of nake women ;)) but it's neat show pics of the baby each week :)

A Mystery and a Dream

Well first of all yesterday Todd and I got a gift in the mail, a book called "My Boys Can Swim A guys guide to pregnancy" No name, no card the mystery begins, my guess is my mom, Todd's guess is his cousin Marla (which I can also see) It's a really cute book though so thanks to whoever it was.

Last night I had my first pregnancy dream, I dreamed that we walked into a hospital, went to the front desk and they handed us a baby swaddled in a blue blanket , the baby was defiantly a girl though, ( a beautiful girl might I add) then the blanket it was swaddled in turned pink. I wish that's how it was though, just go and pick up your baby don't have to do the delivery part but yes it was only a dream ;)

9/8 : I was put on an antibiotic for 7 days for a UTI (if I don't eat allot with the med i get a sour belly, so I make sure I have a full stomach when I take it) Since Wednesday I have been fighting a bad cold, stinks becasue I can't take anything and I have to just tough it out. I am feeling better today though

Go Bucks

Well this weekend Baby Jimerson got it's first Buckeye gear :) Dan and Lisa Decker got him a Ohio State hat, Todd said the baby's first pic will be taken in that hat :) Cole on the other hand said that baby will NEVER wear the hat! hehe let the Michigan/Ohio war begin :)

We got together with my family this weekend, It was nice to see all of them, and the family seems to be very excited to have a little one joining the clan - I realized yesterday it is time to add a baby to the fam, when all the nieces and nephews are joining in on the adult conversations!!!!!! (and they know more then we do)

9/4 : No new symptoms, I do think I had a bit of a bladder infection yesterday though, just trying to drink more fluids, STILL REALLY TIRED!!!! trying to get used to it but it's hard!

Not the only one!

I got some really cool news yesterday, Todd's cousins wife (that sounds funny) Cindy called me yesterday to congratulate me, she is also pregnant and is due April 17th :) so at least somebody in the family will be the same age as baby Jimerson :) She already has 2 boys so she is rooting for a girl she said if I have a girl and she has another boy she might have to switch them in the hospital hehe

8/28 : Last night was another BLOATED night i really looked pregnant!!!! I drank a lot of water yesterday so I am not sure if that's why but geezzz i can't be showing already so it has to be something! This morning my belly is just a lil upset not real bad, just don't have much of an appetite.

First Doc Visit

Just got back from the doc :)

first of all I'm so glad Debbie referred me to Dr Chauhdry he is really a nice guy very easy to talk to. (He also said tanning was o.k. as long as it's not excessive)

They did an ultrasound the baby was to small for the computer to figure out a due date, The Doc is guessing April14-16. It wasn't so bad no exam but I go back in 2 weeks, and they will do one then :(

Todd was so cute asked the doc about 4 times "Only one right?" Doc said for now that's all i see but in a few weeks another one could appear ! I think Todd would pass out. He said everything looked really good I'm much more relieved now :)

The ultrasound was amazing, it's sooooo tiny but could see the heart BEAT it was like the whole baby was moving it was so small got me a lil teary eyed :)

It's just so exciting!!!!

A little anxious

Tomorrow morning is my first check up I am a little nervous, just hoping everything is o.k. and not looking forward to the "exam" but am excited to find out when I will be due and hopefully they can answer some of my dumb questions that I have been wondering about ;) (I know there is no such thing as a dumb question).

8/23 : I have been exhausted lately not wanting to do anything but lay around and sleep but then at night i'm not sleeping real good because my bladder has been keeping me up. Good thing the salon doesn't open till 11:00 I get to sleep in :) My boobies still a lil sore but not to bad.

Big brother knows

Well I found out Todd had told Cole the day I took the home test but had told him it wasn't official until the doc said so. So this weekend Todd told him its true :) He said "I hope it's a boy so he can pass the name on I don't want kids, I know how babies are made" I could tell he was excited he had a HUGE smile and he kept calling me pregnant woman all weekend :)

He doesn't get the whole baby thing though when I explained how I can't change the litter box he said I don't get it what are you going to do clean the litter box and rub your belly with your hands hehe

Sami had a cake, and baby decorations in our camper :) She bought the baby it's first outfit duckie sleeper, hat, booties, and bib. :) also a book "Cool Baby Names"

It was a fun weekend being able to tell everyone the news. Everybody called me mama or Bob (baby on board) all weekend :)

8/20 = boobs are pretty sore, not much of an appetite but still eating because I know I have to. :)

Reality Check

I had a friend write this when I told them the news It brought tears to my eyes but was a HUGE reality check :)

WOW Sarah!!! It is amazing that you will soon bring a new life into this world. Think about it. A life that will most likely be around on this rock for 80 to 85 years. A new life that you have created and will teach. A new life that you will be an important part of from it's beginning to until your end. A new life that will remember you until it's end. A new life that will always call you "Mother". A new life that will always depend on you. A new life that is a part of you. A new life that see's you as GOD. A new life that you can teach good or bad. A new life that will always love you.

Tonight we will be seeing Cole so we can tell him the news :) Should be interesting to see his reaction and to see what he has to say :)

8/16 : Yesterday I was bloated!!!!!!! so bloated it looked like I was showing hehe ;) Today i'm just really tired!!! no spotting though yeah :)

It's official

The doc called me at 11:00 and gave me the official news = I'm pregnant :)

I took a home pregnancy test yesterday morning and it was positive. Todd had to work till 5 in the morning I took the test about 8am I didn't want to wake him but I had to, got in bed with him, tapped him on the shoulder and said I took a test it's postivie, he peeked opened his eyes, looked at the test and the paper and got a HUGE smile, then said are you freakin out? ;)

Yesterday I was just in lala land not knowing for sure if I was or not, today i'm HAPPY :) a little freaked out but can't stop smiling.

I'm going to be listing everything going on with my body and in my head every day sorry if they are to graphic for anyone ;)

WHAT I'M FEEELING:

Last week: bloated, irritable, ate like a pig, (thought I was pmsing)

8/14 : got up took a home test = + ! Now that I look back i'm have been TIRED (more then normal) and going to the ladies room ALOT! Last night my "teets" hurt (i like that word better then the other one)

8/15 : Got the call from doc I'm pregno :) when I woke up this morning I had a bit of brown spotting when I went to the bathroom. and still peeing alot (guess I need to get used to that)
